Woody's on Football Focus tomorrow apparently. He apparently admits in it that he's been up and down, how he doesn't feel comfortable at right back and other things as well.
Two things that stand out here: Firstly that the manager thinks that Woody has had a good season and hence I assume he thinks that Woody has also improved the team? Secondly that "he" (I presume that refers tp TP but either way it makes no differrence) "doesn't care what the fans think" - sums it up really! Even if that is what he honestly thinks, you would hope that common sense would prevail and he would be at least dipolmatic about the fans? He wonders why "he is not loved by the Stoke faithful"?
Jesus For me that just about sums up how THICK Pulis is.. nothing more to say but sorry T.P. you have finally ******* lost it!
Nicky Silly me, I think what I actually should have said is. Tony with that statement finally tells me without question. IF he thinks that and say's it well... There are places where these silly things are said every day. Point being they are all locked in a cell in a white jacket and handcuffed to a wall.
Going by his selections, Pulis thinks that about 8 players have had a good season, thats why he keeps playing them.
Huthy Ow reet Let's have some fun here.. I'll start if off. Which 8 do we think those 8 players are. Being honest and without checking how many app/sub app etc all round season heres my guess also taking in Europa and FA, L cup games too. Ryan, Huthty, Walters Crouch Ethers... I honestly can not hand on heart say. I think other than those any have been consistant and good enouugh. Ethers I have my doubts to be honest but I guess he is (one of the 8)

You mention 5, the other 3 are Woodgate (which he states), Wilson & Delap. Same faces, same **** football.
It's quite evident that Pulis does not give a flying fig about the Stoke faithful and just uses us as another of his weapons to win games. The only problem now though is that the majority of the crowd have got his number and don't fall for it no more hence why the last 3 home games or so the crowd has been so quiet with very few songs. I remember the past few seasons the songs have been so funny and so loud it was actually more worth going Stoke to listen to the songs than it was to watch the football, But nothing now, the odd Delilah and oh when the reds every now and then. The crowd is as deflated as the team and yes we get "where's your famous atmosphere" of every travelling fan that now comes to the Brit. Pulis is a professional con man both on and off the pitch. But like most good con men they can only keep the con going for so long before they are found out. This season i think the cracks have begun to show on how poor TP really is. He has had the excuse to hide behind that we are a newly promoted club and we have to grow, fair play I'll agree with that but sad thing is we have better players now and playing worse football than our first season in the prem! TP is tactically devoid of ideas and does not know how to win a game only how not to lose a game. At home we should have 3 forwards on the pitch and going for it chance who we play, For me the best manager at turning a game around was Mourinho he knew how to win games and TP should pick up a few tips from him! As regards his scant disregard for the fans I've been harping on about this all season as I see this for myself every time he runs in and out of the tunnel with his head down never once clapping them. Stoke City Football Club is just a job for TP he has no passion for it whatsoever. Tony Pulis professional conman and poor tactician but thanks all the same TP as we get to watch prem football even though our performances are usually substandard!
P.S. and if he thinks Woodgate is any good then he is a bigger arse than I already think he is. Just like another article I read saying that he said Crouch and Walters this season have been "exceptional"!! "good" Tony lad but seriously not exceptional mate. No shots on target for most games does not make forwards exceptional in my book, but what do i know I'm only a thick brickie!
Waddo Great post matie.. Just to add to what you said and it's proved your point to a tee today v Derby. Brings Pennant ON when he should have STARTED. IMO BAD MANAGEMENT UNLESS, he AND Ethers start at Old Trafford. I would love to get the odd off Bet 365 on both Starting and put 20 quid down that they will NOT both start. I might lose 20 quid but it might, just might give us a lookin. As Utd lost today. In T.P.s word Sir Alex will be spitting blood tonight. So I expect a reet ole ding donger of UTD v TEN men defending and whichever keeper is slower at picking ball from the net, he might be busy and strain his back. Let's HOPE they and the REF are kind to us and take it easy. Although I hope and pray we keep it at worst 3 zip. Utd will be well and truly rattled by the defeat today. Watch out lads and GOOD LUCK.
