I reckon we should try for this lad, only 26, has great technique as he showed at qpr last week, I know his goal scoring record ain't great but he plays in a team where he gets very few chances, sky are saying Wigan will listen to offers as he's out of contract this summer so could probs get him for £3-5 million, I'd be delighted if we could get him in
I'm with Commachio on this one. We need someone who will more often than not hit the back of the net. I don't see Rodallega as a consistently clinical finisher.

He is a good player imo. Not sure where 3m or such comes from but that's a bargain in my eyes. I reckon in a better side, if would be far more prolific in front of goal.
I'm with Cest. I'd think he was a good option at double that, he's a very good technical player. He'd score more goals in a team that moves the ball quicker. We do.
He's a poor player in a poor team as far as I'm concerned. Which players wouldn't do better surrounded by better player? I think this rationale has any credence.
Ask Liverpool about Carroll and Adam? Do they look better or worse? Like BB, I'd take him at 6m as well. All about opinions of course but only mine count. Lol
I don't see how people come to the conclusion he's a 'poor player'. His movement & touch is good, and he holds the ball up well. His finishing ain't great, but it's was superior to Bendtners, if we paid £3-4million, we'd easily get our money back even if he flopped. I don't think he would.
...as a general rule though. I think some of the younglings could be given a shot, or the money spent on some unkown. Afterall, spending £6m or even £3 for a player proven to not be prolific would be wastefull. A gamble may pay dividends, but Hugo would just be a waste.
Fair points mate, but I think he'd work out. It's in MON's hands, and he'll do the right thing, we all have the faith in that.
