    QPR Fan in peace.

What was the Sunderland view on Nedum last season?

I keep reading about his England under 21 caps but he is 25 now and hope you guys have something a little more up to date to say about him.

    What was his best position?

Goodluck for the rest of the season not that you will need it with MartinO in charge.

Good player on his day, but can also be a bit inconsistent.

Great player on his day but as MrRAWhite says above a wee bit inconsistant. Tell yer what though....you must be paying him crazy wages as he knocked you back last week when you were offering him 60 grand a week...wouldnt be surprised if he hasnt squeezed an extra 10 grand a week out of you, as he was spoutin earlier in the week that he was remaining in the North West

    Good lad.

Strong, pretty pacey, best at CB IMO (but that divides opinion).

He's a smashing signing for you, he is a wee bit patchy, but he's good a lot more than bad.

We'd all have taken him back, put it that way.

Physically... Outstanding. Technically... Unfortunate. Overall a decent player.

Decent right back but better centre half for me and I'd have taken him but not at the wages you're reportedly giving him.

He is a solid player though.

Solid, but always looked wobbly on his feet to me. Great goal against Chelski (cheers Ned! <ok>), but like everyone else has said, a bit up and down.

average imo, his brilliant goal at Chelsea makes him look better than he actually is, still a decent player though

I always liked him and hoped we'd go back in for him. Im pleased we didnt now though if he's earning over 60k a week!
He can play anywhere along the back 4. I prefered him at right back.

A decent player who I reckon we should have gone for in August as our defence was paper thin. Would still have him now and with a good run in a settled team he should prove well worth the money.

Thanks for the feedback chaps, basically a decent player, who can be a bit inconsistent but is versatile and who is now overpaid.

I'll take that - sounds better that what we have and I'd rather give Nedum 60K a week than JoeyB....

Good luck against the Boro - it should be a great North East derby, we have our hate filled Chelsea racist derby to contend with and it's not gonna be pretty.

£35k per week is the wages apparently.
