    Really? One of the best attacking full backs in the league (and decent defensively) IMO. The only left back I currently rate higher is probably Enrique :(

    He's decent enough, I just don't see him pulling up any trees.

    That was for 3 games. He was just settling in. After that he was excellent, far better than Clichy was for us, and far better than Santon is for you.

    All he does is bang a nice free kick. There are plenty of fullbacks better than him.

    Tidy, I'll give you that. Also, since when was Tash a sky cameraman?! I'm gunna watch some more of Santos in the next few weeks to get some better knowledge of him - my mates don't call me Motson for nothing. (Well. They called me it once.)

    He's currently injured. he'll be back in a month or two. Thankfully we get sagna back in a week<diva>, no denying that he's quality. Even tash would have to admit that.

    Baines is a quality player, but is 100% Everton, so it would be nigh on impossible to prise him away.

    He got a lucky nutmeg, poor goalkeeping.

    It looked good and classy, a cool goal, but it was along the floor, middle of the net, hes looking down at the ball so he hasnt telegraphed the meg, if chech stood still and not such a wide stance he would have saved it...

    Hes a great player but im not so sure it was the pureposefully magesterial finish you claim, santon probably could do that, its just a kick of a ball with a slice of fortune.

    He is the best left back in the league I reckon. Not sure what's left on his contract but 10mil for him is a steal.

    Santos is a better player than Santon. Santon can easily turn that around in 2/3 years time though.

    This thread made me laugh. Why do some people start a thread over a player that we simply wont get?

    Can I start a thread asking if you lot reckon we should get Philipp Lahm?

    Too expensive for us, pretty decent though. Gets a lot of goals for a LB but mainly free kicks and pens. I'm sure we can find someone as good or as near as abroad for a fraction of the cost though.
