I've never seen a true original of it, though I have it on vinyl rerelease from the 70s. The few I found online claiming to be original weren't exactly original when I asked the sellers about the release number. I'm not a big record collector but I'd love to have some albums on original pressing.

i'd like that kraftwerk one got some others but that's the one i'd like but the price of some of them doesn't make it feasible really unless like you say your a collector

Yeah it's daft how much you have to spend. Just not the same when you have a rerelease.

    Very true.

Got me thinking, what albums does everybody own that they're the most sentimentally attatched to? I don't mean your favourite album, just an album you like owning and I'm not talking MP3 here, I mean actually own the album physically. It can be CD or Cassette if you like too.

I'd love to have first edition of the Slick Rick.

Just looked into that Nonphixion album and saw that Necro produced most of it. Heard some of his stuff a few years back and found out he's sampled a few rare experimental art rock albums that I've got - love hearing obscure samples and recognising them, makes you feel closer to the record I think, like you have something bizarre in common with the artist.

These two are the ones i most enjoy having in album form, purely because of how excited i was when i went out specifically to buy them.

(i know this is a cd collection but i needed this boxset more than i needed food at the time :)
widely available now but trying to get it a over a decade ago was extremely difficult as it went out of production and hunting a copy down was hard as **** it took me a few years and i was like a kid at christmas when i found it was overjoyed was also one of my first purchases over the internet.
there's a couple more like the folk devils ( pics unavailable) that were also a bitch to hunt down as well as the dancing did
