Bellamy is a mercenary, and a gobby niggler, but who minds having a mercenary if they try every time they play. He'll get in defenders faces and make a nuisance of himself, and unlike AC he knows how to score. Gonna be hard for him in the final though, playing against the team he supports, I often wondered what that was like for players. a Bit injury prone though, as most of us hammers will testify.
Latest in a long line of "must wins"- too many of which we haven't. Let's hope the tide has turned and we can start putting games like that away. On topic, not too much I can add to what's been said about Bellamy- he was immense. I'm another one who was unsure about him coming back and am quite happy to be proven wrong.
I thought it was a good signing because I remember him being in the form of his life at City under Mark Hughes. I thought he would be one of those players that would chip in with the odd goal against "lesser" opposition when we, for example, rested Suarez. I didn't expect him to have such an big impact though!
top top player..always rated him and Spurs wanted him but them tw@s,city,were too afraid to sell him to us.
Yep! Such a character, I love it when he shouts at Andy Carroll, I wonder who would actually win in a bust up between the two.. Kick up the arse is exactly what they needed. 100% agreed, never thought he would make such an impact, even with his other performances, but the lad gives so much, probably one of most successful signings for KK in terms of the work he puts in, the passion and determination. Proud to play in a red shirt, even tries to get his face to match it at times
Did anyone see Bellamy grab De Jong by the throat and then turn it into a joke, I **** myself thought he was losing it for a second. Couldn't find a pic of it so thought I'd post this instead. please log in to view this image
Just mentioned that in another thread! I thought he was heading for the tunnel, then I seen him laugh thought you cheeky b******! Edit - Nice pic
