Iam very much now of the opinion that he could well come back in the summer and that these little interviews are to set the grounds for it.

If we all see the club right behind it and the player himself start to comment on the possibility over the next few months, then it won't be a huge story come May.

I have to say, I'm very comfortable with it as well. He's a top world class player and any animosity for me has gone since o Neill came in.

I'm torn with this one in that on the one hand I think he would fit in with our current style of play really well, but on the other hand he is a player whose only motivation seems to be money, and I don't think he has a good attitude for team spirit.

If we got a good enough offer 10m + id sell him. If not he's ours he's the best forward we have so he'd be in the team.

If we sell him to the UAE then I want a minimum of £20m - we got £6m for the 1 season loan so they're blatantly loaded! Take them for all we can get

If he comes back and gets back to the player we know he is capable of being, then he will be great for us - I wouldn't accept less than we paid for him though

I would have Gyan back without a problem, yes he left us but I dont think we will ever know why.

I would only welcome him back if he gave a decent reason for leaving. If not I think he could upset team morale.

There lies the question, and as you so rightly say "we will never know the answer"

as for having him back, Absolutely.

I have said before that in an ideal world he has a cracking ACN, a bidding war begins and we get paid more than we paid for him when we bought him - we then use that to buy as near to a 15-20 goal a season striker as we can.

I fear though that we might struggle (even with MON) to secure the services of a top striker (£10-15m type top!) to come and play for us. Even if we do they are fickle bastards and likely to bugger off after a season or so if they do well and £$£$£$ signs cause short term amnesia and they forget the "I love the club" mantra they were spouting when they first joined.

I would be loathe to sell him if we didn`t have a replacement lined up because, as Parker says he is the best forward we`ve got; they are a rare breed and if we can`t replace him we should have him back.

I would never have him back if it was a newcaslte player. He went after the money then come creeping back. **** that for a laugh. The man has no respect or morals.

In all reality, you tell me what any supporter can do except look a tit on the news...........nothing. If your happy to take a snake back then that's up to you. He admitted money was a huge factor in why he left. He would rot if it was a toon player for me like.

Don't talk **** mate. I support the club I don't run it. My morals have nothing to do with how the club is run. Screw your head on man

What I was talking about was gyans morals actually. You can read cant you. I put my views across on how I would feel if it was a player at my club. Your the one trying to twist it around. Barton the footballer at our club was supurb last season. Wasn't arsed in the slightest when he left.
