I thought Nigeria's case was something stupid? Like after their shocking display at their last national tournament that the head of the Nigerian FA refused the team from competing in the next one as punishment?

They soon reversed that decision and took part in the qualifiers, they just failed to qualify:

Manucho just scored another.

 

I had a speculative bet on him at the beginning of the tournament to be top scorer - 33/1!

 

Well when I look at the likes of the Ivory Coast and Ghana, then at Senegal...

 

Good on you!! E he scored again (PG) and now leads with 3 goals.

 

SENEGAL were knocked out last night after only 2 games. Thats the first shock of the tournament.

 

Daniel Cousin just scored for Gabon. Probably the victory goal 6 minutes left.

Yep i saw that yesterday. Come on Manucho! Also had Zambia to win at the beginning of the tournament at 50/1 - looking like a good bet now!

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself now - Zambia won after an amazing penalty shoot out and Manucho ended up as joint top scorer!

 

I had £20 today on West Brom, Man City, Villareal & Ivory Coast all to win. I'd have won £215 (plus my stake).

It's fair to say i'm ****ing fuming with Didier Drogba for missing that penalty!
