1) Leeds (local side) 2) Camberley Town (Combined Counties Prem - used to play for them) 3) Burnley (mum's team)
Man United - Dad's family. MK Dons - Home town - although they weren't around when I was born, would still like to see them do well.
I donât follow any other football team, my only team is the Rs. There are a few I have a soft spot for though; Palermo â Why wife is from there, and only Sicilian men could get away with playing in pink AFC Wimbledon â Because itâs remarkable what fans can do when their club is taken away from them Juventus â I used to love watching Football Italia back in the 90s. What a team they had under Lippi they had, with Roberto Baggio, Fabrizio Ravanelli and Gianluca Viali Man U â Donât shoot me, but Iâve always liked the way they play and the fact that theyâve always had a strong foundation of British and Irish players at their core.
Further to my previous post on this thread the Irish contingent remind me I follow Waterford United as I lived there for a short while in the 70s when they played in a cowshed called Kilcohan Park, I watched a few of their games there when they were one of the top three Irish teams at that time. I believe they have since moved to a new stadium...
Portsmouth - Born here. Sporting Gijon - as its pronounced sporting he-haw! Ajax - Went there to celebrate my 18th, watched a game, among other things. Fantastic city.
Shoot you for Man U when Juventus is the real crime! Gobbi maledetti et al...! Palermo is a beautiful city, amazing location. I visit Mazara del Vallo often, Sicily is all that's left of how Italy used to be.
LIKES: Aberdeen - Because I was born there. Barcelona - Love the football they play. Arsenal - I have a soft spot for them. DISLIKES: Spurs Man Utd Chelsea West Ham Liverpool (Not necessarily in that order)
Partially agreed Imaz, at least the bit about Sicily being like the Italy of old anyway! One of the weirdest things about Palermo though is that absolutely everybody there (and I mean everybody) supports Juve. This is despite the fact that Juve are based in Turin at the other end of the Country. I guess one reason might be that itâs only recently that Palermo became a serie A side, so Palermo and Juve were never really rivals.
Cork City, its where im from and not a bad side either, won promotion this season with former hoops play Danny Murphy at left back
