    It was 1990 - as far as I can remember, the benefits of it were:

    Some flats in Kinning Park got re-faced
    Some folk were able to sell t-shirts with a city of culture logo on it


    I was a bit young, though - maybe now I'd appreciate events that happen as a result of this.
