How about the team and manager giving the fans something to get behind for a change, instead of losing to teams like Swansea.

Give the fans some credit, these guys are paying good money to watch overpaid dross performances at the mo.

Now is the time for the Board to invest in the team not keep close to £200 mill in the bank and payout 60% bonus to Gazidis.

I think with Sagna, Wilshere, Arteta and Gibbs coming back, we'll have something more to be happy with. I can see a little run being put together too.

Also are we going to see Miyaichi play? I mean, he's got to be better than Arshavin!

With those players returning we really should see an upturn in our fortunes.I think Miyaichi played in the reserve game against Fulham

I dunno why anyone is looking forward to Gibbs coming back, pointless player, injured after 2 games. Its like looking forward to Diaby coming back, why would you bother ?!!

Hopefully Gibbs will last long enough for Santos to return.

Well it's like having a bunch of new signing, especially Sagna and Wilshere, they will have an instant impact on the team. Also a midfield of Song, Arteta and Wilshere will be strong.

Wooohoo on Miyaichi. Ill try and find a stream for that game.....

  9. I can't wait to see Miyaichi play in the first team if what is said about him is anything to go by. Potentially one of Wenger's better buys in recent times and one who presumably wasn't bought because of shirt or other trinket sales. I do wish some of our youngsters would come on stream sooner. We need them this season!!!

I've seen him play for Feyenoord and he had that kind of Balesque pace about him when going past players. I just hope he is the real deal and gets a proper chance to showcase his talents. Frankly speaking, Arshavin has been given ample oppurtunity so its time for players like OXO and Miyaichi when he's ready to have a chance....

To be honest, i want us to revert to our older style of play. We were so exciting back in the days. I loved it the way we used to break with pace. I really think with players like Walcott, OXO, Miyachi and Wilshere, we have the potential to return to breakneck counter-attacks!!!

Personally i've never been a fan of us playing 4-3-3.I've always thought we were better when we played 4-4-2

Maybe we can adapt to different situations? I think with 4-3-3 we seem to be more successful in Europe. But with our more traditional 4-4-2 formation, we can play that more against league opposition. We won many a league and cup with this format. So maybe Arsene can find a happy medium.....

You do have to change your tactics to suit the opposition. That is where Fergie gets one over AW

Unfortunately. Wenger is just too much of a purist for his own good. Fergie doesn't mind getting his hands dirty....

I've said it a million times, we should change our formation to suit.

In Europe, away from home, 4-5-1 seemed to work, it got us to the CL final in 06.

4-3-3 has its merits as does 4-4-2, none should be overlooked. Its almost as if we are too good for some formations, like they are beneath us, 4-4-2 being like meat and veg compared to exotic formations like 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1.

  20. Well pal

Arsene doesn't do that, does he? Perhaps he might just surprise us.

I think he is so set in his ways now it makes a creme brulee look like a door stop. :emoticon-0138-think
