Just seen this on Sky Sports website: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11743/7457480/Chairboys-reject-Beavon-bid I don't think it will be long before a top end League One or Championship club comes in for him and I wonder how much it would take to convince Hayes to sell given that it would almost certainly mean relegation if he goes. Could be a nervy last week of the transfer window. And I might hold fire on getting one of those 'Beaver Fever' t-shirts until 1st Feb!
Let's face it. He is a class above anyone else we have in the squad in terms of skill and also determination. It is truly only a matter of time before he goes, now he is finding the back of the net. I wouldn't begrudge him a move as he has never been anything than a total 100% player for the blues (a true pro). Lets hope he gets a move to a Championship club so we can again look up from time to time and be proud of one of our ex players.
Quite right Slasher. Whatever happens, I fully expect him to go by the end of the season and I could not blame him as he should be playing higher. Ideally, he stays with us until the summer and scores plenty more goals to help keep us up then a Championship club comes in with a much bigger offer.
beaver is too good for us and i suspect that, unfortunatly, he will be gone regardless of our league status at the end of the season. however, i think a bigger club than bournemouth will come in for him
This is bad news for us !! We need to keep hold of him if we don't league two beckons Would waddock get the money to re invest in the team that's the question ? Where's the ibe money ?
Also heard a rumour at the game last weekend from a usually reliable source that Doncaster had made a £400k bid. Let's hope neither of these go through as he is our ONLY match winner.
please log in to view this image player of the season by a mile and our only hope of staying up is if he stays
