Just seen this on Sky Sports website:

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11743/7457480/Chairboys-reject-Beavon-bid

I don't think it will be long before a top end League One or Championship club comes in for him and I wonder how much it would take to convince Hayes to sell given that it would almost certainly mean relegation if he goes.

Could be a nervy last week of the transfer window. And I might hold fire on getting one of those 'Beaver Fever' t-shirts until 1st Feb!

Let's face it. He is a class above anyone else we have in the squad in terms of skill and also determination. It is truly only a matter of time before he goes, now he is finding the back of the net. I wouldn't begrudge him a move as he has never been anything than a total 100% player for the blues (a true pro).
Lets hope he gets a move to a Championship club so we can again look up from time to time and be proud of one of our ex players.

Quite right Slasher. Whatever happens, I fully expect him to go by the end of the season and I could not blame him as he should be playing higher. Ideally, he stays with us until the summer and scores plenty more goals to help keep us up then a Championship club comes in with a much bigger offer.

beaver is too good for us and i suspect that, unfortunatly, he will be gone regardless of our league status at the end of the season. however, i think a bigger club than bournemouth will come in for him

Also heard a rumour at the game last weekend from a usually reliable source that Doncaster had made a £400k bid. Let's hope neither of these go through as he is our ONLY match winner.
