My local team Dorchester United had a streaker running round the pitch dressed in a Kevin Keegan wig and Borat Mankini! :) Yes, it was funny!

The stewards couldn't catch him, so one of the players rugby tackled him to the ground and would you believe it, the referee showed the player a red card and sent him off!!!

No wonder refs get such a hard time when idiot refs like this one make a decision like that. Apparently, the FA are set to overturn the decision.

What the hell has happened to common sense in football????

Just found it on You Tube.........

A few years back I was asked to stand in for the keeper in a local Sunday league team. Sent off after 15 minutes for foul and abusive language to my own defenders when we went 5 nil down.

The one today on RVP ranks right up there. Terrible.

RVP's was a travesty of a decision - this one is just ludicrous all round.

I have to agree - tonight's SVP red card was just plain bloody stupid.

    Ref spoiled a great contest.

The thing about it was that it was not a dirty game, unlike LFC V MU. Tough tackles, sure, but no malice IMO.

And nobody went down - that is the crazy aspect. It was a "technical" infringement that did not impact the game one iota.

I normally sympathise with refs because they have a thankless task. But that Swiss pillock deserves a kick in the hole.

    Danny, well phrased.

And you are right, that cementhead ruined a great contest.

    No - not really IMO.

The ref had a good game, I thought, apart from that one crazy/stupid decision.

But let's not kid ourselves on one point: RVP knew that the whistle had gone.

Was still a very harsh and stupid decision IMO.

    Yes, RVP knew.

Did it warrant the decision? No, ridiculous.

Remember Kieran "I was kicking the ball to where I thought the free kick was supposed to be" and he was imo innocent -I thought it was disgracefully unfair

I was red carded by my own teacher back at school, in a game against Thornhill, for shouting at my Goalkeeper to stay on his F****** line and focus on the game, as he was wondering around ..... I thought that was a bit harsh....

There was a really daft one in Scotland a few years back. The ref dropped his red card and didn't notice. Gazza picked it up and was going to hand it back. As he walked towards the ref, he playfully held it up and red-carded him. The ref took the card off him and red-carded Gascoigne!

If another player saw the ref's property lying on the ground after that, he'd think sod it, and leave the ref to find it for himself. Stupidity.
