Just seen this article on ESPN and the contrasting management styles of PL and BR. http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/st...ch-bring-much-more-geography-prem-michael-cox
Nice!! Good read that. I've said it before, but I'll say it again...The Jacks also deserve huge credit as we bought into this new style of play with Martinez and continue to support the style when many other team's "fans" would be getting agitated and urging the team to hoof it forward. This has meant the players on the field can play in a relaxed fashion, and this has gone a long way to ensuring the success we have achived, so a big pat on the backs to the supporters as well.
I'd never really thought of our fixture on Feb 11th as Spain v Germany, but I can see where the thinking behind that analogy comes from. Deutschland uber alles! OTBC.
Really good article!! I had never thought of Norwich as Germany before but it makes sense to draw that comparison! Good luck Norwich, I hope we both stay up this season!
Aren't Spain still number 1 though? Holland second, Germany third. Don't shoot the messenger Good article. Never realised Lambert spent time over there. Obviously picked up their sense of humour - he's a miserable bugger even when you win.
he's a bit like dalglish. he's actually a pretty light-hearted chap, but he doesn't enjoy doing the media business and is deliberately monotone on camera, and always says basically the same thing. so much so that any city fan can tell you exactly what he is going to say, before he even appears on camera!
the posters on the message board were very complimentary, but the re were a couple of deluded posts saying PL would end up at celtic. never going to happen, he's much too good for the SPL.
Carrow Strasse is a great idea and Stadio del Libatores or something for us Swans!! Btw PL is far, far, far too good for the SPL!
