Wes Morgan asks for permission to speak to Leicester

It looks like he will be signing after all then, now he wants to leave it will be easier for us to agree a fee

If we sign him, it will be interesting to see who gets a starting place when Bamba comes back.

 

I think it should be Tunchev going. As good as we know he can be his body isnt up to it.

Or with Gelson Fernandes and Yuki Abe going we dont have a defensive midfielder. Does Nigel want to push Sol Bamba into the midfield with Mills and St. Ledger/Morgan at the back

Well if he wants to come then great, we need a squad of 4 centre backs anyway and Tunch I don't think is up to it now sadly. As for SSL, well we have a week and then we will find out!

 

Deadline day is on Tuesday and its going to be very interesting. I think Nigel will be happy the Middlesbrough game got put back from the Tuesday to the Wednesday

 

but in all seriousness can leeds have SSL if you guys get Morgan, we desperately need a CB

If you asked us 2 weeks ago, we would have delivered him to you hogtied.

Now, after his last two performances which seem to show that his balls have finally dropped, no - we want to keep him.

Given the results of this poll so far, we could sell you Tunchev - I bet he will be like Kisnorbo where he is always injured for us but hardly ever for you.

 

I think we're being a bit harsh on Tunch here - by all reports he seemed to do well at Palace. Sometimes it takes a while for a centre back to settle in ie Mills and St Ledger. I say let's keep all four AND bring in Morgan - maybe send Tunchev out on loan because I think he needs to play to keep up his recovery.
