With respect to the wee man I disagree. He was once awesome, now a solid squad player (imo). I personally think he's been pretty good this season but I'd like to think for the wages he's on we can find someone as good/better to replace him without too much of a struggle. I do get your point about Arsenal in the transfer market mind...
Isn't it obvious that the more Rosicky play the better he becomes. Earlier in the season he made a few errors whic is understandable due to lack of playing time, but now he is playing much better and is even an attcking force going forward. he is now playing with confidence and is much improve. He now dribble pass opponent with ease and his passing is now improve. Shipping out Rosicky now would be one of Wenger biggest blunder.
I'd have him playing over Ramsey at the moment. You might get a better player on less wages, but you won't get a better player for the transfer fee that he'd command. He'd go for a token gesture of a couple of million tops, and you won't get squat for that. Best off keeping him.
I should note I wouldn't want to lose him, but if a player wants to leave I'd not stand in their way. I'd also not object to him starting ahead of Ramsey. Almost spat my cup of tea over my monitor prior to the United game when I read Rooney saying he was our highlight of the season with RVP. The. F*ck.
I like Rosicky, but he is in danger of being let go. He is not a home grown player and I think there is a clean out coming. He is going to be asked to take a huge pay cut, if he does stay.
Again, this is just making it seem like Wenger is in a much more difficult situation than he actually is. There are bargains out there and we have money to spend. With that attitude we could be mid-table and you would still be making excuses. If you think Rosicky can't be replaced then I don't know that Rosicky you have been watching since 2009.
