Ashley Cole is set to give evidence in defence of John Terry when the court case takes place next week! What a ****ing tosser,he should be done for perjury.
What's he gonna say? "well, uh, as you can see, i'm a, uh, man of colour, and JT here has told me, pinky promise too, that he didn't say anything too bad against the bloke, who was it again? ah **** it im only here for a new lass/lad"
And even if the source is credible, who knows what he'll say on the stand? Or if he'll "perjure" himself? You should have some understanding of what constitutes libel before you post this. Due process and all of that. I'm not a big believer in censorship but maybe these JT threads need to be closed till after the case. He is a ****ing tosser though.
Next week is when a plea is entered and all reports suggest JT is not attending but his legal team will put in a not guilty plea and then the trial will take place in a few weeks. I do remember reading somewhere that he said he had shouted to Anton do you think I called you a... then the next day said he didnt say anything. So he admits saying it but then denies it, I just cannot remember where he said it etc, I hope the CPS know.
Do you know what? I really wished this ****e hadn't of happened. It detracted from our fantastic win. Anton hasn't been the same since. It's ruined this weekend's game. I'm frightened to open my mouth, If I do, I fear the Brown Shirts will pull me in. £73.50 0n tickets and I feel that I can't fully back my team without fear of persecution. All of this will surely work in Chelsea's favour. The reason this game hasn't sold out yet is because all the seats are being occupied by the PC brigade.
I know how you feel 999 but i refuse to be told what to say or what to think because of a scumbag like Terry. All this hullabaloo is down to him and the ongoing behaviour of some of their fans at other games and other venues. This is my last word on the subject and i was only letting people know what i'd heard on the news. The most depressing thing about this whole sorry story is that Cole was the nearest person to him and definately heard what he said, and didn't react in any sort of way!
Don't get me wrong HH, i'm not condoning the fella. But apparentley this case rest's on another camera , so far as unseen by the public, which confirms what he said. How true this is, I don't know. It may be complete bollocks. As for the Cole issue... Let's just say.... If I was standing next to you in the R block, i've known you for years, and you shouted out something in the heat of the moment. You got pulled for it. I know your family and kids, and also knew it was a one off and out of character of you. Would I stand up for you? Of course I would...We all make mistakes, that's what humans do. If of course, I knew you were an out and out whatever... would I stand for you? That's another matter. That's my last take on this issue. Racism has no place in football. However, neither has over zealous policing and mis-construed PC correctness.
hh I hear what you're saying and I'm not unsympathetic with your view generally. Please see some of my past posts. I'm keeping my powder dry till after the case, whatever the outcome. Nobody, least of all me, is telling you what to think. What you say, at least until the case is over, is a different thing altogether. AFAIC say what you want. I'm just trying to point out that the law takes a different view of things like this. Remember the Soham murders for example? http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2003/dec/18/radio.soham (Quoted this as it sticks in my mind, it being the local radio breakfast show.) Quote from the article:
Posted as an example of the idiocy of commenting on a current or impending court case. You've basically accused Cole of perjury before he's even taken the oath. As much as I dislike him, I wouldn't do that. You said you're out of commenting on this. Count me in too. I'll say no more until the trial is concluded. In the meantime say what you like. After all... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoR2qr0d3Gc&feature=related
