    Nowt at all wrong with any of this imo. As NUTS says, it could raise standards of some threads - and I'd add, also the entertainment factor on here. Personally, I'd enjoy reflecting on quality threads and posts rather than watching them drain away into obscurity a day after being written.

    The good thing is that most of us (barring volunteer 'creators') won't be obligated to do anything, TIMK and everyone else can join in or keep out depending on their whim and fancy at any point.

    Think we've agreed to run with this.

    Thanks to VPR and Nines for coming up with the concept and volunteering to operate it. Let's give it a try and see how we get on.

    Gotta say, thanks also to Roller who's shown, with his match result prediction comp, that a marathon project can work on here with the right kind of stamina and commitment.
