Wigan, Wolves. And Chelsea. They will be docked 50 points by the FA for JT's racist abuse after he is found guilty at the trial and for AVB's shameful comments that he would back his captain "no matter what the result". No harm in wishful thinking is there?!!
Anyone other than the promoted teams for me. Norwich and Swans playing some great stuff and things moving in the right direction at Rangers.
I will only name one - Wigan! Beyond that it is too close to call, wait until the transfer window shuts and lets see what happens in the following 2 or 3 weeks and see if any of the transfers make the desired impact. If QPR bring in 2 or 3 players that can change their fortunes this season then I think they will survive, it will then be down to Wolves, Blackburn & Bolton to slog it out. If those 2 or 3 players turn out to be similar, in terms of effectiveness, to those signed in August then I would think they have some real problems.
Unfortunately it is still perm 3 from 5 in our mini league. Other teams need to be dragged down into this league to make it 3 from say 8 that gives us a better chance of staying up, that gap of 5 points between 16 & 15 has to be closed quickly or we will be in trouble no matter who is signed in next 10 days or so.
Can't see Norwich going down and both Blackburn and Bolton have some excellent players. Wolves otoh are far weaker and as for Swansea... Well, this isn't a league for dwarfs (sorry, "the vertically challenged").
I would say at the moment that Wigan are looking in real trouble but as a Wolves fan i am fearing the worst for us this season. Nothing going our way and the games we are playing well in we are still not getting anything from. Hope i am wrong but pretty sure it will be going down to the wire again this year and we will be around that area the way we are playing at the moment.
I think the bottom three now will be the bottom three at the end of the season. Wigan and Wolves are just not good enough and i think by the end of this month Samba will be somewhere else and that would be it for Blackburn
Cannot see Wigan staying up, especially as their players want to leave. Wolves and Blackburn looking ropey as well.
Looking at the Premeir league at present there are not many teams that cannot be dragged in a relagation battle at present only 4 teams have more than forty points so Norwich & Swansea can still find themselves fighting to stay in the division, to even suggest that you are safe from the drop in unreal it can happen to anyone if you have a bad run any the teams around you, below start picking up points. Wigan, Wolves, Bolton, Blackburn or QPR could just as easily hit form and win 5 or 6 games from their next 8. Just dont count your chickens or you could have egg on your face as you plunge toward the bottom of the division.
As long as we stay up I'm not too bothered tbf. I don't really have anything against any of our fellow-strugglers either. It would be nice to see Wigan survive to repay the loyalty the manager and chairman have shown to one another. But not at our expense though.
