Lucky bastard! I'd love to see him, especially in the current Barca team.

Best Player for me is Gary Speed, just consistently good.
Best Performance was Jonathan Woodgate vs Marsellie in the Semi-final of the UEFA Cup. Excusing his injuries, I firmly believe Woodgate was England's best defender when he was with us!

I remember that, Drogba was on top form and banging them in at that time for them, and Woodgate had him in his pocket all match. The one mistake he did, he chased Drogba down from ten yards behind him and made a perfect sliding tackle. I still remember Drogba just shrugging his shoulders and laughing in disbelief at how good he was.

Almost impossible to say, although i saw a pretty much full strength Brazil side play against Jamaica in Leicester in about 2003ish it was a rubbish game. Think the best performance i ever saw (actually being at the game that is) was from Kieron Dyer - check out his goal around 2:20 on this video, utter utter class. Shame about the injuries as he was a brilliant player on occassion.

As for Titus, he was always class in terms of ability but utterly brainless. I recall him being immense away to Inter Milan, but mainly due to having a set job (marking Vieri) so he didn't have to think.

Ed: Noticed the Woodgate comment. I think when he was with us he basically was our defence, he made Bramble look international class as he told him what to do as well. When we beat Chelsea 2-1 but Woodgate went off injured (around March/April 2002 i think) we moved to 3rd in the league but our (very slim) chance of competing for the title went along with him.

Would love it if I was old enough to remember him. Was only a kid when he was playing.
