Interesting point someone made on twitter "Can Gary Hooper really be seven million times better than Tadanari Lee? #saintsfc" The answer is of course, no. I know Youtube clips can make any player look half decent, but you can clearly see he has undoubted technical ability - it's just superb. Hopefully he adjusts quickly and manages to deliver on the pitch. Also apparently we've activated the release clause in Billy Sharp's contract (£1.5m) - Still won't happen.

Rumours doing the rounds on twitter that Brighton are in for Forte for £1m. If that's true I'll personally fellate Poyet. Oh, and supposedly we're in talks with Sharp again having met his release clause. Apparently he was at the game on Monday night. Probably not a good sign!
If Brighton take Forte, Poyet is in the priory having his head checked out im sure! no way that would happen (but i would drive him there myself, well walk him there since im not old enough to drive)
Unless they think they're buying Fonte... They might be in for a shock when he turns up to sign the contract and looks a bit different to how they remember him.
Alan Nixon of Daily Mirror saying Saints have enquired as to Sharp's interests, know the price and Mr. Ryan says he is fed up of waiting for a bid... He just tweeted me: "Sharp has a fixed fee. Saints willing to pay. Player ready to go. Saints waiting on something. I don't know what."
Sounds like the Gorkss situation, where Saints make enquiries then just wander off without telling anyone what they are doing.

I've been talking to that Nixon from the Mirror and he says Saints still waiting to see if chances to sign either Hooper or Rhodes arrive, with finger on the pulse as to Sharp, no other clubs have bid as of yet so Saints are not worried. Also, Sharp said he would only leave Donny for someone heading for the Prem, or in the Prem, this is why he turned down LCFC.
Which suggests to me we have another target in mind, which links with a post from someone on saintsweb about us going back in with a 3rd bid for Hooper.
How does he know Sharp wants to come if we haven't actually made a bid? Can't discuss terms without a bid being accepted. Or is it an 'in principle' thing? Is this guy reliable? Seems to be saying what we want to hear!
Donny fans say Mirror have hit the nail on the head for most news Re: DRFC as they are class to Willy McKay for most of their news this season. Sharp has a set fee so it was just a case of asking if he would be interested if we were to activate his clause.
