I am waiting for the knock-out stages to start when the wheat has been sorted from the chaff.

It's currently pissing it down so much in equatorial guinea that kick-off has been postponed. Anyone know what happens if a game is missed / abandoned mid tournament?

    From the bbc site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16690891.stm

In the final minutes, Aubameyang, whose father captained Gabon upon their 1994 Nations Cup debut, whistled a 25-yarder wide before earning rapturous applause as he was substituted by Daniel Cousin.

After failing to make the starting line-up, the former Hull City striker was keen to impress Gabon coach Gernot Rohr as he almost set up Mouloungui before curling over from the edge of the box.

For Zayatte mentions (6 in total!) go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/africa/9685351.stm

"1856: And now for Guinea's anthem. They are playing in white tonight, captained by Kamil Zayatte (Hull City fans, remember him?), with Pascal Feindouno looking particularly stern as the music sounds."

Cool, should mean I'm home for the second half. They play them as double headers so the state of the pitch could be pretty interesting for the second game later

The football they play is so boring. all the games are 1 nill ( what does that remind you of ) and the pitch looks like a tsunami

It's hardly impressive. And surely you would look at FIFA rankings, qualification statistics, etc before sticking money on a team?
