I think Mourhinio could be tempted to come here, with the team we've got. We already know that we need to add at least one marque striker, and possibly another CB and DM. We clearly have a team that has the ability to win the title, and it won't take more than a few tweaks to ensure that we do. I can see that being attractive to Quello Speciale, especially if it's backed up by the certainty that we will be building a new stadium in the not-too-distant future, and the promise of fresh revenue streams that that will bring with it.
Would Levy have the financial clout? Out of interest...if 'Arry did get the England job and left Spurs...other than Mourinho who do you see/would like to see take over the reigns?
Our owners are among the richest in world football, so I have absolutely no doubt that we have the financial clout to do it. There's the rub. Getting Harry was a stroke of genius, because I doubt that any of us here would have seen that as being a winner, at the time he was appointed. My worry is that Levy would try the same trick and get in someone like Warnock or Sven, and they would be abject failures. All the usual names will crop up, such as Moyles, Coyle, and even Hiddink or Anceloti (perhaps), but who knows. I doubt each of them will do us a creditable enough job, but not necessarily anything special. The reason why someone like Mourhinio is paid so much is because he can almost guarantee success. There are very few managers like that in any sport, any where in the world. Chelsea's mad Russian owner was...well, mad to get rid of him.
Okay, okay, okay! Laugh at the funny man, if you will. I meant Moyes. Can't a chap be permitted the odd error?
Mr H Are you expecting 'arry to be a guest of Her Majesty's then? He may as he claims be a poor businessman but I'll concede that he is far more entertaining than our man, the one some of us are trying to direct to an upstairs job or the England job
http://www.sabotagetimes.com/report...se-mourinho-will-never-be-considered-a-great/ Quite a good article explaining why I'd be reluctant to see Mourinho at Spurs.
never thought of him as the special one,his teams have alway's played boring football, would'nt want him at Spurs
I see Piers Morgan is a real keen Arsenal fan.Poor man! Wonder if he would like Susan Boyle as the next Arsenal manager......?She could sing herself to sleep watching that lot!
Yet the easily-led swallow his obvious blame-deflecting accusations about Barca (especially Chelsea fans) rather than look at Real's shenanigans on the pitch.
