I dont think i could face another 90+minutes of watching Cardiff TBH, i fell asleep midway into extra time last night, good luck to the bloobs though, it will be nice to have a big day out playing a team from the Premier league :)

    Liverpool v carrdiff = Liverpool win 2-1
Man city v Cardiff = man city win 2-0

Glad you made it to extra time, most of the Sunderland players slept through the whole match against you lol, remind me what was our score against Blackburn, oh I remember we beat them 2-0, how did you fare ?. Actually your predictions are probably not bad, but it's a one off game and strange things sometimes happen, 4th visit in 4 years you never know lol

But you must agree it's all well and good visiting but there has to be an end product, history doesn't remember runners up I,m afraid unless you happen to be that runner up , Now where as little old us with one visit and BANG we come away with the Glittering Prize.

"remind me what was our score against Blackburn,oh I remember we beat them 2-0".

I saw that scoreline, and thought to myself, surely the FA of Wales must lobby the Football Authorities, and have Cardiff fast tracked into The Premier League. I mean to say, beating Blackburns second team WAS a hell of an achievement!!!

two evenly matched teams that day , who ever you meet I'm sure you'll do your selves proud but its rare for the underdog to come up trumps .

Was a fairly good game last night, both legs were as they were end to end, but lacked a bit of quality when it mattered. They deserved to win in the end but I would be concerned that they must have had 40+ shots over the two legs and only got one goal (which was an og) and an extra man at home for almost an hour and they still had to have penalties to beat them (with thier number 1 striker and dead ball specialist subbed!).

Tonight's winner will win the cup. I hope cardiff will give either of them agood game but i cant see past Liverpool beating them by 2 or more, Man C by 3 or more!

As for the Blackburn comparison, you beat thier seconds at home and we lost to thier firsts away. Can't really be used as a comparison, if you want to then you must consider that you lost to West Broms seconds away and we beat thier firsts at home!!

Let's be realistic Cardiff couldn't find the back of the net once, in over 220 minutes, against Palace! how the hell they going to score against Liverpool or Mancity back line? the best out come for Cardiff would be to play Liverpool, but even then, I think they'll ship 3 goals, but against Mancity, it doesn't bare thinking about, I'd say they'll lose by at least 4 goals, but hell a cricket score could be on the cards! Is Mackay a magician?............. <laugh>

So it could be Swansea v. Cardiff in the Europa League next season if they qualify via the Carling Cup and we qualify via the Fair Play League?

My take would be you want to play Man City, reason for this is that City will be chasing the League & Europa cup and with games thick and fast they might put a weekend side. (If there is such a thing with Man City) Liverpool are a different story, only silverware there chasing will be the League Cup (They will probably be out of the FA Cup by then) so Dalglish's side will be more of a threat.

As I write this it will be Liverpool.

i don't rate Kenny either or some or there players, some very average ones there. Will be a good game, interesting if Bellamy starts, had a good game tonight.

Cardiff City - The only team to brag about repeatedly losing at Wembley.
In a previous thread JH even reffered to it as their 'second home' <laugh>
Good luck lads, try to keep the score respectable eh'.

Liverpool play with pace, when Bellamy's there, they seem a much better unit without Carol, and tonight Bellamy had it in for Mancini, that's for sure, played out of his skin, what a transformation from the Liverpool of a few weeks back!................ <ok>

i would prefer to be underdog as there is no pressure. ok liverpool are a big club but they blow hot and cold, the unfancied teams in the premiership this season have either beaten them or drawn against them. we drew 0-0 at the kop early in the season when we were trying to find our feet. I personally dont rate kenny as a manager and i honestly believe that on the day you can get a result....
