    As stated in an earlier thread QPR999 did this at the end of last year.

    What do you think of monthly forum awards?

    Categories are yet to be finalised, but they will be something like:

    - Post Of The Month
    - Thread Of The Month
    - Member Of The Month
    - Newcomer Of The Month

    etc.

    Will Member Of The Month be like Manager Of The Month? - i.e. the following month they disappear without trace and are eventually sacked (metaphorically speaking)...:grin:

    If there is a panel, it would be a wise idea to have it made up of a variety of ages, as there will no doubt be a contrast of opinion in each case.

    Can we do the same for bob mid but his catergory would be tit of the month which I'm sure your agree he will win hands down every month.

    These ones are fine, and maybe a wacky one. Carefull with taking on too much of a job or this will be only a one month thing I'm afraid.

    But I'm all for it. Starting february the 1st as hopefully things have gone back to normal by then.

    The only problem that I can see is that the people on the panel would be unable to have their articles/posts considered (presumably?).

    Good idea guys. I think it MIGHT lead to a better standard of threads here. It is an awful lot of work for the panel. Hope you are not biting off more than you can chew.

    PS. Think that 5 Panel members is too many. 2 maybe 3 is enough. We only have about 20-30 regular posters here and a panel of 5 is too many. Just my thoughts.

    Presumably anyone who posts here is elegible or is it QPR only?
    Also Nuts the "regular" poster notion is fraught with difficulty; how many posts to be considered a regular?Some members read a lot and post relatively little; others read little and post a lot; we can't have a "worthiness" bar, and I don't think that's what you're implying.
    Not being fractious, worth mentioning though.
