If you haven't seen it already, make sure you watch this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9418556.stm
Just watched it. I can remember last year's when they got them all to predict who would win - Coulthard said Red Bull and they all burst out laughing.
EJ said he expected them to be challenging the top teams more than McLaren and Merc. I'd say he's reading a little too much into testing times, both teams (especially Toro Rosso) looked handy last year in testing but didn't deliver. They'll both be behind RBR, Ferrari, McLaren, Merc, Renault and Williams IMO.
All the pundits seem to think Red Bull are sandbagging, but by how much??? Are they going to reveal in Melbourne that they tested using a Clio engine?
I actually agree with Eddie Jordan. The McLaren design is not working as it should, and now even Button has acknowledged that they will be behind in Australia. There are big issues they need to overcome. If they can sort them out (which will take a while), they should be very competitive. Apart from the extreme push rod, the Sauber (just like Ferrari) appears to be a conservative car. It makes you wonder where the speed is coming from. It's possible that they are on lower fuel but I think the pace is genuine, certainly in the case of Williams and Sauber. Undecided on Torro Rosso.
Normal service resumed Coulthard>Schumacher, if the old man can't beat them in his comeback he will try and try again. Thats all I can say.
