In this time we have a FA Cup game
    We have a CL game

If Nani misses these games we will be out of both competitions

I can see us losing to Arsenal 2.1 and drawing to MAR 1.1 but the away goal rule will kick us out of the COMP.

These are the plain facts guys and I know we will be out of 2 comps if Nani does not return

Oh well thats football for you

If they were away i might agree but our home record is great and espescially if Valencia is fit again. we will be fine. in the marseille game atleast.

Giggs is no longer good enough for 90mins

    rooney is dire

    hernandez needs service

does berbatov play well on his own? does he even show up during CL games?

In fairness the Sun now says Nani will be out for three games:

But then it does also say some guy can talk to the dead and some bird lost seven and a half stone by using her Blackberry...

Conc I have been on this Nani story since the second he got injured.

Man Utd have not said anything
I have seen various papers suggesting he is out for 3 weeks. But surly he can play with stitches in his leg?

However, on twitter there has been little change in the Nani injury

On Man Utd.com on the today at old trafford section one of the Man Utd staff or media workers rang up carrington doctors on Nani and his injury news and they said they don't know how long yet and are giving it a few days before assessment. I really hope they can just stitch it up and he can continue to play because it would be covered by the shim pads anyway.

Good news was Nani never went to the hospital and was walking I heard. He also posted he should be back soon on twitter. We really need him but I doubt he will play against Arsenal. Hopefully against Mar he will play. I am doubtful we will beat Arsenal as we have no real attacking weapons. Hopefully, we can score a lucky goal and keep it tight and hopefully Arsenals spirits are crushed further tonight as well.

Nani is injured for the Utd game, we can be sure of that. They would of said so if different.

I think the Sun's just stating the obvious. We have three games in the next 11 days, followed by a two week break. Given that Nani was walking when he left Anfield, it stands to reason he hasn't broken anything, so it's most likely he'll return at some point in that two week gap. Which is fine by me - we shouldn't need him to get past Marseille and beat Bolton, particularly if Rio is back by then. As for the Arsenal game, I won't be heartbroken if we go out of the FA Cup - we need to prioritise the league right now. Our squad isn't strong enough to go for all three.
