I love that, especially with the retro badge. Ironic that they've managed to freshen the kit up by going retro. I don't think it should be a permanent switch to the old badge though. The only thing I don't like is the lettering, I hope that's Puma's rather than the Premier League's because it really looks awful, I fear that may be the only genuine part of the kit. :(

None of it is genuine. Just a custom kit made using a template.

If anyone wants to give me some constructive criticism for my short story I write for my A-level work I would be grateful

    [NSFW]

    The silent girl
We both grew up in the same village ,her family was always poorer than mine, which was saying something .Her father was a *miner turned alcoholic after losing his job ,her mother had died when she was very young , since she was the eldest of the daughters a lot of responsibility was put on her for the upbringing of her siblings .Every so often I tried to help out round her house with chores ,but this wasn't *very often, her father was a suspicious man who didn't allow visitors except for his drinking and card game companions. When I had my thirteenth birthday I was sent off to the local village to the high school,I lived with my auntie and uncle and occasionally I had time to come back to the village of my upbringing. One day when I was back in town we met by the lake and she asked me question after question about my life with my auntie and uncle and my new school, even though her own life was miserable, she never seemed to envy me.to mark out friendship,I snapped a branch of the tree by the lake and threw it into the lake in front of us.the leaves scattered in the wind and flew into various directions.
The years passed without my return to the town and I didn't make contact with anyone up until my eighteenth birthday when I returned to tell everyone the news that would change my life . My parents already knew of the news so I went to tell anyone I could find who would be happy to hear the news , just as I was about to walk into the church a girl shouted me and I turned around to see who it was ,she still had the same beauty she always had, even though she was dressed in rags and with muck on her face . She was as surprised to see me as I was to see her,we walked up towards the lake and sat on the sand which had formed due to some of the lake drying up . She was so happy for me when I told her that I was awarded a scholarship to go study in the city and just like six years ago she wasn't envious or jealous , she was happy for me. After lengthy discussions I asked 'why don't you come with me to the city' ' what can a girl without any qualifications do in the city' she replied *,I hadn't thought of that because I just wanted to protect her ."I have to protect my brothers and sisters and my dad is very ill meh has caught a disease and I can not afford the medications to cure him.

I studied for four years at the university ,during that time war broke out between the government and rebels, the fighting stayed away from the city but the villages of my childhood were heavily affected . I continued my studies until I was offered a job by the government to translate into languages used remotely in the countryside. In the October of that year the government attached me to a unit of medics who were going to villages to treat the ill, during the journey between to of the villages we had some time off from treating the ill. The village of my youth was only a short drive away, I drove there in my jeep and tried to make it before night fall. The journey was a long and tiring one but I made it to the village just before evening. What I saw made my stomach churn, the village had been partially destroyed and the corpses of soldiers and rebels were starting to decompose in a mass grave just beyond the entrance to the village. The only building I could see that weren't totally destroyed were the church and two houses with signs of life coming from the house on the left, I hastily got to the house and was shocked to see who was there, she was so weak and skinny. I offered to help her but she refused any help I offered ,she said 'what do I have to live for,my parents are dead,my siblings are dead and my child is dead' I made the mistake of not helping her before I left for university so I wasn't going to not doing anything for her this time, I picked her up and put her on my shoulders, but by the time I got to the car she had gone,I took her body up to the lake which had now nearly totally dried up due to the drought with just a tiny bit of water left. I buried her a grave and stood there crying for hours just watching as that last treacle of water drew up and the lake disappear * for the last time.[/NSFW]

You should get in contact with AH or JWAG, they're both doing English degrees I think. I think JWAG has talked about creative writing before.

Are you two mad? Next you'll be saying that Neil Lennon did this unintentionally.

At full speed it looks unintentional. It might just be a case of slo mo making it seem pre meditated. He'd have to be bloody quick minded to do it intentionally though!

Also, Smudger, did Pardew say anything interesting in his radio appearance that you put on here?
