Nice to see yet again more Charlton players being nominated, both thoroughly deserved.

One thing I did notice is Morrison normally gets the plaudits over Taylor. Although Morrison deserves this award I think it has to be said that Taylor has been an absolute rock for us of late but it seems to go unnoticed?

Taylor has been an absoloute rock in the recent weeks and pretty much consistent over the entire season.

But congrats to JJ and Morro - a stunning goal and from what I've heard Morrison was much improved from the Sheff Weds game.

I cant praise Matty Taylor any higher - he was totally immense on Saturday - so was MM , but I thought Matty edged it. Matt will get the acknowledment he deserves - he got my POTY vore on the other thread. I just cant get over what a defence we have with CS and RW too - we are SOOOOO fortunate.

Wasn't the defence stronger under Curbs?

I cant imagine any defence being stronger than this one.

Thinking about that - i wonder what the record is for the best defence ? - we always look at records in tersm of goals scored, but i wonder what the record is for goals conceded?

I expect it would be stronger under Curbs because of the status of the Premier league.

Fewer games in the Premier League, so the comparisons would be slightly stilted.

I love him literally, but "not like that, I'm not gay lol".

On a serious note, it is great stu. I now go to games not fearing that we will concede in the opening 15minutes.
