I hadn't thought about it until a Chelsea fan (I think) mentioned it on page 3, but both teams could have used another opponent for this game, because we've both got bigger issues to worry about in the league, all be it at different ends of the table. It's going to be a pain in the arse for me, as it kicks off at 6am Houston time, but I'm still looking forward to a feisty game.

Between the CL and PL games you guys have coming up, is there a chance that AVB will rest some players? Also, if the atmosphere's like last time, who's going to take your corners? I remember that Mata didn't like the reception he got from the Loft. (that's a serious question guys, don't give the mods an excuse to close it please)

Any chance Essien will get a run out?

 

Houston, we have an important game on Tuesday after aswell at Swansea who haven't given anyone an easy ride of late so I expect to see the likes of Bertrand Romeu and Essien feature from the start (I hope).

Wouldn't be suprised to see 'JT' benched under some pretext of staying fresh for the next PL match which would be a shame as the crowd will be on his back from the minute he lands at LR.

Nah.. recently Luiz has been playing very well. Last week against Norwich he was our best player. I know that Helguson will get a lot of abuse from the Chelsea end on Saturday for his 'dive' for the penalty at loftus road... I don't know if this is rubbish or true but apparently it may take up to 30 mins to get into the ground for us away fans due to security reasons!! Is that true or bullshoite?
