I've watched this documentary a few times and thought Id share it for those that haven't seen it. It's a fantastic watch and sums up what a fantastic player he was and just how much Liverpool he has in his heart. Enjoy Fellow Reds - YNWA
I know it's half hour long - but trust me when you have the time watch it as it's absolutely brilliant.
Thank **** for that - someone answered at last. Thought Id wasted an excellent documentary Even for other football teams fans it's a great watch, even my Mrs enjoyed it FFS!
Great vid! The only thing that spoilt it was the innapropriate use of Jamie Redknapp passing comment(can;t stand him or his repetitive ****)! Great to be reminded and to see some of the great players like Mcmanaman, Barnes and Rush. Made me also feel very lucky and grateful I chose to support Liverpool as a kid!
Just thought Id bump this thread as some of you may of missed it yesterday and it's well worth a watch
I grew up when Kenny was Player/Manager...with the likes of Rush and Hanson et al. I must say my true boyhood Liverpool heroes were Barnes, Rush, Beardsley, Aldridge, Houghton, Molby, Rosenthal - The list goes on!
**** mine were a late barnes, macca, fowler, owen, berger, hyypia ( late 90's-early 200o's int erms of Kid status)-- some barren times then
1986, barely remember fa cup final but thats the day... me and my sis hopping off each toehr fighting over which side to pick. she picked blue... dumbass... since then barnes = hero....
I go back a bit earlier than that. I started supporting them in the Keegan, Toshack, Heighway, Hughes, Lawler era
Although my era was special I do wish I was around with the likes of Jonesy watching these players...
