The RC midwives are already excused performing abortions. What they were moping about was providing care to women before/after abortions.

Well listen up bitches, your duties are clearly defined in your contract of employment. By all means take it up with your employer to have your contract amended, but until then do your ****in job or **** off out of it.

Sounds like you want to reform it though, not abolish it.

Why do they not just sack people if they are breaching their contract? The employee would (or should) have no grounds to sue.

Yes you can. If they refuse to perform duties they are contractually obliged to do. But, as I understand it, these bitches started bleating religious discrimination and the waters suddenly get a whole lot muddier.

To be fair, it's in their contract that they don't have to do abortions if they choose (these women chose that, apparently) but are now moaning that they have to do prep and support work for it.

I would've thought that the prep and support work would be compatible with their choice - they're not causing anyone to abort and are helping women (some vulnerable) by carrying out these duties.

Counselling someone after rape does not constitute supporting rape (this is a really bad analogy but I'll stick with it)

It would be easy to save many millions even billions, just by stopping any drug available over the counter from being given on prescription, afterall if it's safe to sell in a shop it shouldn't need a prescription to get it.
