Nice idea Valenciennes, great minds think alike and all that. As Brix said... we did this in December, could be an annual event. It was well recieved last time, made a nice diversion to all the on-field shenanigans. Keep thinking them up new ideas for threads though, a bit of light hearted relief is always welcomed on here.
Not sure what I'd done to get relegated to the reserves for the last poll - a monthly update would be cool though, with all the winners going into the pot for the annual gongs?
A post of the month competition sounds good to me, 5 - 10 posts selected by someone (9's? - the mods?) put up for a poll and voted for. Of course we will have to find 10 posts that aren't an argument between CB and someone and this could be a challenge... I do miss quite a few posts if i dont visit the site every day and it would be a way ot catching up with some of the better ones i had missed
Interesting ideas coming here. Let's see what others think and then work out the best way of getting it working. Panel of judges maybe...
How about best (or worst) prediction? But not just some Cerny crystal ball bashing, I mean things like predicting Ramage to score the winner against Chelsea, only for the much-maligned Novocastrian to come off the bench and wallop the winner.

This might not be such a bad idea, good call to both of you and Willy This! Superb idea! Could make everyone strive even more to make that "perfect post". Panel is a good thing. Make a sticky thread to which all members can nominate the posts they have appreciated the most during the last month. This would make the panels job easier if they get some alternatives to choose from.
