Let's hope that all the talk afterwards will be about the football.

I just hope that it's a good game.

I don't think I can handle any of the repetetive threads from last time.

It's being reported that Alex is off to PSG, and Lampard is likely to follow.

Have to say, when I was starting to get into football, there was only one club in our area (Kilburn) to follow - and that was Chelsea! Team was the bizz back then. All Ozzie, Cookie, Baldwin and co. Brilliant to watch. Classy kit too.

Then my neighbours took me down to LR one day. I'd hardly heard of Rangers - but the party them 'poor' boys were having down in division 3 was to die for. Rodney, the Morgan twins, Lazarus etc. just blew me the other way and never looked back.

When the two teams first met at our place it surprised no one that Chelsea done us 0-4 but still a spectacle given the players they had back then. Tbh, money or not, that Chelsea side was the best ever and lasted for years. Never won much for all the talent they had but always entertained wherever they went. Since then it's been one or other on a roll of some kind and we've both known hard times (though none worse than the past 15 years for us).

Truth is, a lot of Rs fans feel a way about Chelsea I personally never have. Maybe it was school experiences, family or neighbourhood. Maybe there's a bit of envy in there too what with all the cash and glory flying around whilst we were eating ****, I don't know.

But what I do know, is that despite a shakey start to the season, the Rs are well on the way back. Now it's us with serious backing, talking new stadiums, global markets and big signings.

Like Telford says, we won't be expecting much from this encounter, nor the next... BUT I think we can all see a time in the not too distant future, where a Rangers Chelsea clash will be THE derby game to get to - so enjoy your current advantage Chelsea boys, won't be long till we get a proper match between us again!

It's always been THE derby game to get to for me and many other hoops Brix. And while were talking of new stadiums and new players and global marketing, that's all it is at the moment talk.Abramovich talked the talk but he's pumped billions into the scum,Tony and co have only talked it up so far he now has to show it's not just hot air.Let's just hope this game is as uncomfortable for Chelsea as the last one was!

Really hope our boys behave on Saturday if for no other reason than our squad is very thin and we can't afford any stupid injuries, suspensions etc etc. The fans will ensure that there is an electric atmosphere, just hope the players keep their cool.

Yeah you can say that it's a cup final for both sets of fans with the rivalry and us wanting revenge. I just agree with the other posters in hoping that come the final whistle, it is the football we are talking about...

Hopefully come the final whistle we're talking about a 0-3 win with a Torres hat-trick

    Can't wait.

Chelsea boys; you should be able to buy tickets in the home areas with a QPR registration number.

The league game went on general sale to Rangers fans who had registered with the club database prior to sales for the Chelsea game.

I will not boo Anton but I will boo that Helga the diver

I hope our games become a permament fixture too; but I really don't think it will never replace Fulham-Chelsea as the real West London derby.

    Especially for us old uns

Part of me kind of wishes we didn't have this game on our agenda... Given the momentum we've built up in the last couple of games - 2 home wins on the bounce, a great display against Wigan, a visible restoration of confidence in the side - a game at home to Chelsea, which realistically we won't win what with three of our top players (Ale, Taarabt and Traore) unavailable, isn't really what we need to be honest. I would have much rather gone into the much more important Villa game on the back of a convincing league victory than a home FA cup defeat.

That said I do see some advantages; hopefully Taiwo can get a game under his belt, and Buzz can continue his revival, and if we could maybe, just maybe sneak another win against one of the top teams in the country, then I'd happily eat my hat followed by some humble pie for afters and admit that the FA cup game this weekend would have been an incredible boost for morale in the camp. My head says we don't need this game against Chelsea; in my heart, hope springs eternal...

There's no reason why you can't beat us on Saturday.

We've got one eye on CL now anyway

I did it on purpose out of respect for Cerny's famous 'Warnock is getting the sack' thread. It was the term that CB used. A little 'in' joke if you like. Obviously that was missed, or wasn't funny. The latter being more likely.
