I was literally seconds out from getting a match ticket for Saturday for myself but because I was waiting for my dad to upgrade his account to a club member i missed out for myself and i'm totally gutted. This is my last chance, anyone got a spare they won't be using?

What time are you getting into Brighton on Saturday?

Wondering if we can meet for a beer before headling out to Falmer from the station.

Not too sure mate. I'm stopping in Portsmouth so driving over from there. Will have to ring you Saturday morning. You should arrange to meet HIAG also.

    OK.

I'll send HIAG a PM. Thinking of the Grand Central pub as it's right next to the station.

Is it much of a walk from parking/station and then from the station to the ground? I understand there is no parking at the ground but I'm with two people who can't walk very far.

Here's a map of town centre parking in Brighton:

    http://www.journeyon.co.uk/car-park-map.asp

Normally a pain in the ar*e to park in Brighton but that's usually during the sunnier months so you may be OK.

There is a park n ride on the northern outskirts but not sure if you have to get a bus to the centre or if you can get a bus direct top the ground.

As far as walking from Falmer station to the ground it's a few minutes walk but there is a queue to get back to the centre after the games.

EDIT: I usually park at Trafalger Street car park which is a couple of mins from the train station. It's on that map to the east of the station.

    I just don't understand this :

Newcastle are in FA Cup Fourth Round action this coming Saturday, when they travel to Brighton and Hove Albion for a 5.15pm kickoff, live on ESPN.

United's 2,500 allocation for the South Stand has now sold out with the club declining to take an additional 800 tickets, which will now be sold to home supporters.

    Why?

It was sold out before it even went on members sale <doh> Can't stand Ashley when it comes to this.
