I think that tthe best signing Neil Warnock made whilst manager was Adel for last season, followed by Derry, Kenny, Mackie, SWP & Clint Hill.

His worst have been both JB's and Kieron Dyer, Danny Gabbidon has not really done much expect score two goals one for us in the cup and one for Bolton.

What does everyone think? Everyone has an opinion lets hear them.

    Comeon urs.

Best Adel, Loads of goals, loads od assists, loads of man of matches etc etc and worth ten times more than we paid for him.

Worst Hulse, closely followed by Dyer. No explinations needed.

Best: Adel closely followed by Kenny

Worst: Clarke closely followed by Hulse

It's no co-incidence that Clarke was only at Swindon a week before DiCanio had him by the throat, a far subtler kind of man-management...

    Best:
    1: Taarabt
2: Traore (in a couple of years I think this will stand out as NW's best signing)
    3: Young

    Worst:
    1: Clarke
    2: PVM
    3: Perone

    Leon Clarke 100% worst
Adel Taraabt 1000% best. Although technically Adel was already here he still made the purchase!

Best Young / Mackie (Mackie Ithink has surprised many whether he is premiership class we will be able to judge properly at end of season)
Worst Leon Clarke / Ron Hulse / Kieran Dyer / Barton (for lack of respect shown to manager / fans, lack of "international type performances from an international (well in his head)), and for the fact he thinks he can milk the club dry out of £80K a week whilst contributing at this time, absolutey fook all,

Best for me though it was only on loan was Kyle Walker - how good was it watching him overlapping! Adel was a very close second. Derry, in the great championship year was also brilliant - jury out this year.

    Worse Hulse or Perone

    Best Taarabt
Worse Clarke, i said at the time it was an awful signing.

For me he had more bad transfers than good ones.

Ninj didn't know we bought Rob Hulse's brother Ron....but can't be worse than Rob can he?
Best: Luke Young, Worst Leon Clarke.
Just curious whether MH can improve Hulse, because he has been ok in the past. Problem is we have about 10 players on our books that no one else wants. Just have to let their contracts expire, maybe too expensive to pay them all off.

**** me dead! Never realised there were so many of them! 20 is it? Nearly one a month on average - and half our total overload of 40 pros...

For me, the order of effectiveness is hard to say but goes something like this.

    Proved their worth

Taarabt (if he counts as an NW signing)
    Kenny
    Young
    Ferdinand
    Derry
    Mackie
    Hill
    Gabbidon

    Yet to fully impress

    Traore
    SWP
    Barton
    Bothroyd
    Campbell
    Murphy

    No hopers

    Dyer
    Puncheon
    Perone
    Vaagen Moen
    Hulse
    Clarke

Don't expect many to agree. We all have our favourites (some of mine are still in the middle zone - yet to impress to the max).

    Best - Kenny/Young/Derry

    Worst - Clarke/Dyer

I still don't understand why he signed Clarke and Dyer bearing in mind he should have known what type of players they were (e.g. lazy/injury prone) and yet he still got them

I think that Dyer will come good as long as he can get fit and stay that way. As a footballer I think he is quality and may yet surprise us...I hope so!

5 years ago he was proper quality but I doubt he could ever regain that it has been too long
