Then why give him a new contract? We should be playing him until he's found guilty, it's not up to the club to decide in advance.

Some of the "passing" out from the back was suicidal. Davies put the defence under pressure countless times. Leicester played very well, we couldnt handle their movement, and they won just about everything going, 1sts, 2nds and even 3rds. We miss Rickies hold up/link up play very badly.

He did more than his fair share, he was feeding off scraps against the best aerial defender in the league. His hold up play was ok, however he never had anyone to release to. Also the cb in pockets comment is very wrong, even highlighted by the commentators. "guly keeps finding pockets of space" was one line I believe they said. (Yes I didn't go to the game, i'm on a business trip tomorrow morning so traveling is not conducive.

i have no problem with joey criticising, but to say they are no good on the basis of one game is what annoys me - over the course of the season all these players have played their part, and played well and after one poor game, he is saying they aint good enough, thats what annoys me
I have stated Martin has played that way all season, today was the first time a team capitalised on it. When he is dragged out of the line he has no clue, also gets turned far to easily as his turning circle is as bad as Jaidi's. Jaidi however position's himself so he can't be turned with ease.
He has every right to say certain players aren't good enough. Do you honestly think that Hammond, Connolly, Martin and Harding will be playing for us if we get promoted this season? Just to add my opinion - I think Hammond is a decent player at this level but nothing more. Harding is useless. Martin isn't good enough and Connolly is decent when the teams playing and passing it well (not hoofing it like today).
I've been trying to look for positives but I don't rate Martin either. Gives people far too much space and doesn't ever seem to want the ball nearly as much as Hooiveld does - Jos does a double shift when they're partnered together so lucky for us Jos is a class act.
This although if we go up, I can see him being the back up CB as he lacks the pace and is suspect to getting beaten on the deck. Great in the air though!
I didn't rate our crowd tonight. They were idle and disinterested. It is their job to lift the team and instead they were knocking them. I think we need to sign a decent crowd if the current crowd don't start doing their job and working a lot harder.
