I dont know how Shola does it....

Its one of those questions that has perplexed the worlds greatest thinkers and will continue to perplex them until the end of time.

I think we have got enough, even without Cisse to get the job done, but it's what happens on the day that counts <ok>

Newcastle are the favourites, just as we were in the most recent meetings. That can mean a lot, especially if there is a gulf in terms of quality and desire of each sides, of which it is very close to call. (Closer than a lot of mags would ever admit.) Home advantage could well mean a lot. It is too early to make a prediction, a lot of injuries (someones knee might finally collapse), suspensions to be given etc. I'll wait until the last previous round of games has occured before even thinking about making a prediction.

He also was in on goal after 2 mins and almost scored.

Well he didn't mind Tash, he put it an absolute mile wide. Currently I think both sides can't be split probably closer than it has been in the last 5 years (Whilst in the same league) and if we played your team under the name of say Swansea or Fulham we'd beat you's if the law of averages approximately 2-3 times in a week if we played a game a day. With it being your bloody lot from up the road I honestly don't think we'd win one. Don't know what it is about ya's but it doesn't happen for us on the day. Even that game when Richardson fired that missile through the net we absolutely battered your goal hitting the post twice I believe, hit the bar, Given played a blinder and we still only scored 2. Harper used to be the same, played out of his skin.

Frustrates me every game how we can't do it against ya's. Made even worse by the fact probably 80% of my mates are Mags.

We can win this without TOO much difficulty as we do have a very good side (and a superb attack force now) and, like O'Neill with Sunderland, Pardew has the team well managed, well organised and fighting for each other.

Plus, one very important factor is that we have the home advantage, and bar (I think) one result, every team has had a very tough time up here, and it'll be even harder on derby day with 50,000 screaming mags. It's gonna be one hell of an atmosphere.

Sunderland are playing very well, but so are we, so when you combine that with the home advantage we have, I can't see any factors which would make me think a Sunderland win was more likely. That's just my honest view.

Then again, it all depends on who turns up on the day. If Sunderland do and we don't, they will win.

At the end of the day I think we have more quality, but that doesn't really matter than much on derby days. I personally think the last 3 derbies, our teams have been even in terms of quality, but we won the day, this time I think we are actually the better team in terms of quality.

One thing is for sure, I'll be ****ting myself during every Larsson free kick.

Care to make a prediction Cest? We got a lot of **** off you before this fixture last season! This one will no doubt be a bit closer though! Should be a good game and I can't say I'm looking forward to it, but then I never am.

These are the two dreams I've had for it though -

Game is dead locked at 0-0. Sunderland had the better first half, we've been pushing for the win throughout the 2nd half.

It's in the 5th minute of stoppage time. A corner gets whipped in, Shola jumps to head the ball, but the ball falls to Tiote on the edge of the box who smashed it in from 20 yards to win us the game.

    The other dream,

We were winning 1-0, and last minute, Larsson curls in a free kick to equalize :S
