Was having a conversation with some Spurs fans the other day and we all agreed he is ridiculously underrated. Honestly, he's been class whenever I've seen him. Would absolutely LOVE to get him at SJP!

It's all about the money. He left Everton for bigger bucks...

I dunno about that really. Newcastle are probably more solid now spending a little money than they were when they were chucking the cash about on the likes of Owen, Boumsong, Viduka, Martins etc. Maybe what makes the transfer policy succesful is the fact that they know they don't have much money to play with so they scout players more thoroughly.

I don't think Oba was a bad buy, just used in the wrong way..ie long ball!! And we got all of our money back from selling him.

What on earth has happened to David Bentley?

Spurs have wasted a lot of players....

This, I was never convinced he should be in Everton first 11, then when he has a good run of form he's linked with Chelsea and goes to Tottenham.

Always thought Pienaar just stood out at Everton for being the only technically gifted player they had at the time.

Really <yikes>, would have thought players like Cahill and Arteta were the best players at Everton that year.

The loss of Arteta and Piennar is why IMO Everton will not make their normal amazing comeback.

Arteta and Piennar where two of their most creative players and two of their biggest attack threats. They aren't scoring goals and IMO they wont come close to challenging us for 7th this year.

If Corluka is available I think he'd be a quality addition. Rumours of West Ham and QPR in for him, he'd be wasted for them, comfy in all 4 back positions would be great cover even if only on loan for the rest of the season.

Pienaar back at Everton could be a spring board again.
