    Newcastle midfielder named latest Budweiser Player of the Round.

    Newcastle United’s Hatem Ben Arfa has been voted the latest Budweiser Player of the Round following his performance against Blackburn Rovers in the Third Round of The FA Cup.

    The midfielder received 43 per cent of the 4,000 votes cast on TheFA.com, ahead of Wrexham’s Adrian Cieslewicz, Blackpool’s Matt Phillips, Swindon’s Matt Ritchie and Macclesfield’s Arnaud Mendy.

    Ben Arfa scored a memorable solo goal to equalise David Goodwillie’s opener, before Jonas Gutierrez grabbed the winner in the fifth minute of added time to send the Magpies through to the Fourth Round, where they will face Brighton on Saturday.

    Ben Arfa will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley in May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.

    He recieves a trophy and tickets to the FA Cup final in May?? Lets hope he's on the pitch that day and holding the trophy aloft come 5pm
