Quite! But I do like a bit of layered thinking from time to time - usually after a pint or two like last night!

Just to add my tuppence worth I actually like this seasons hoops looks rather classy. If my memory serves me correctly the Hoops from the mid 70's worn by Stan were ditched after 3 or 4 games and replaced with slightly wider version, check out Historical Football Kits website, can see all our kits from the St Judes day onwards.

As for the crest I'm with beth, bring back the 82 version, best crest we have ever had.

    I like the new hoops.
I think that our home kit is distinctive.
The second and third kits are ****e.
The home kit is fine by me.

    Name a team in Blue....
    Name a team in Red....
    Name a team in White....

Name a team in Blue and White quarters.....

Now name a team in Blue & White Hoops....There is only one!!!!

Agree Imaz and TIMK. Classy <ok>

This is my own favourite crest.jpg

Has yours in the middle Imaz, and this is where our current come from (with Tango's hair) i believe.

A modern twist to yours Imaz --> crest2.JPG Wouldn't mind if we used this.

The modern twist one is good. The secret of a good logo design is simplicity which is where the present one really f*cks up.

Not sure. Makes it stick out more on the shirt though.

Try it with blue & green, I liked the green and white hoops last season. Top kit, top shirt.
The yellow reminds me to much of Norwich or Leeds away.

Second kit should be red and black hoops, third green and white hoops. The Dennis the Menace kit was the best ever second kit imo.

The red & black hoops is a good kit but i think the red/white quarters 3rd kit is superb, should be this seasons away kit. Better still should go back to the red/white half shirts a la blackburn strip with black shorts & socks, really retro, remember some great wins at spurs & chelsea wearing that strip.

Both of these are crackers Norway!

Actually, I was thinking about this and I reckon that the board have a perfect chance to do something quite clever around this debate. As the year is 2012, the club should take the opportunity to use the season 2012 -2013 kit to celebrate our 130 years of history. How about in the close season they put up on their website every single club badge that we’ve ever had throughout those 130 years (including our current horrible “Flav-mullet” number), and then they put it out to the fans to take a vote as to which of these should be on our shirts for the following season?? Even if the vote isn’t binding, it would provide a chance to show our history, would generate a real buzz around the club, and would be a great way of involving ordinary fans.

Anyway, just a thought, but I thought that I’d throw it out there! <ok>
