Doesn't look likely anyone will be coming in if Harry is going to be in court all week,or doesn't it matter as Levy does all the negotiating anyway.
Can only assume, as Pav would have had to agree to extension, that Levy has agreed to reduce his asking price. His agent was spouting off recently about how he was being priced out of a move, so why would he sign an extension
That's right YV, it's a perfectly standard and correct practice for us to implement a contract extension, in order to protect our investment.
The Zarate Yid? http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...oan-target-exclusive-story-article856904.html HIIIIIIIYAAAAA
Almost no gossip worth mentioning today other than the Zarate link mentioned by YV. I wonder if the court case will affect our transfer activity?
Have you ever considered working for The Sun, YV? I remember Zarate being pretty impressive at Birmingham, but I think he's had problems since because of his attitude. Might be worth picking up on loan though, especially if we can get a decent price for Pavlyuchenko right now. Wouldn't have thought that Redknapp's case would affect signings, Moorpheus. Levy only seems to get a green light from him on them, anyway. He doesn't seem to have any real involvement in the deals, which is probably a good thing!
Interviewing the Page 3 models? I could do that, I reckon. I've no problem with a player's attitude aslong as they want to join us then 'Arry will get them playing. His wages being about £120k are a big problem though.
I'm sure that we can come to some arrangement! It worked for Adebayor, after all. If he's not going to play for them anyway, then they may as well get some of his wage off their bill and possibly increase his value simultaneously.
Hi HB, I don't know who you're talking about, but do you know whether Arsenal have an option they can exercise unilaterally or not regarding said person, otherwise it's not a like for like comparison.
Had a look at Zarate's record, 12 goals for Lazio since 09 isn't good at all, but I also found this... "Zárate caused controversy when he was photographed apparently giving a fascist salute while watching Lazio lose to Bari in March 2010 among a group of fans, though his agent claimed afterwards that the player "did not realise the significance of his gesture" and did not know who Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini were."
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...ent-dismisses-speculation-over-imminent-move? lets hope this isn't thecase! would very much like to see this guy in a spurs shirt!
You'd better hope that Zarate doesn't join or he'll be taking your name, Notso! "Hitler? Nope, never heard of him, mate." I noticed that earlier, Roo and it's not much of a denial, is it? It's not like he dismisses the speculation entirely. I'd be very, very happy if we were to sign Marin.
was it you and I that were talking about marin last week PNP? he's a typical spurs player, one i think would really make a difference. apparently he's really versatile. I wonder if there's been interest from us behind the scenes?? perhaps the agent has said this to suggest that our offer "better be good", as he knows we're interested. - a bit of reverse psychology perhaps? ... hmmm... probably too hopeful. just another bullsh*t story i expect, as nothing is happening in the window! it'd be very interesting to see him in the line up. could play left mid, allowing Gareth Bale to have the inside free role behind the striker? or on the right as competition for Lennon? or in the attacking mid role offering something different to VDV - interesting to see that he's made 53 assists in 183 games. that's not to shabby!
looks like this could be the start of some real movement, in and out. (no offence to the youngsters who've gone out on loan) http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7453304/Dos-Santos-close-to-Spurs-exit few mill quid in the bank and a reduction in wages - hopefully something lovely is brewing in the back ground....
'Arry said he was likely to be off after the Cheltenham game, so I guess we're haggling. As we paid £6.5m for him, I can't see him leaving for anything less than £5m, possibly with a sell-on clause or something.
