For those of you who can't wait until the 9th to see what Ferrari's upgrade will be, I have some shots. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image A few things I have noticed: - New rear wing - New front wing - Costa said the new front wing will change a lot, and it has. Looking closely, you can see the endplates have changed a lot and there are clear differences - Exhausts - Possibly Red Bull solution? If you look at the the bottom of the rear wing in picture 1, you can see a lot of temperature sensors, suggesting they are using the Red Bull exhaust solution. - Sidepod air intakes more curved at the bottom - Diffuser? It's hard to see, but I think they have a new diffuser - New Floor
A few days ago I told you guys about FA - this guy is very very reliable (not talking about Fernando Alonso). He says: - New Brembo brakes on the F150 ú, braking may be one of the weapons of this car compared to Red Bull - New floor, exhaust, front spoiler and rear diffuser - Ferrari will have new parts in Australia for the 150ú Italia
José, get the name of the car right - before Ford sue you. And those 'exhausts' look a bit obvious, and a bit like stickers, to me.
Cool pics, the car is more curved if you will, I can see the evolution of F1 cars and where they are heading, (Driver sits further back- the car is more streamilined/curved to minimise impact of drag). F1 is heading to the <Aero route rather than <Full speed, maybe to decrease the polluting affect of massive v10's. Improving aerodynamic efficiency is the way ahead.
A "filming day". In other words they test the car illegally for a day and then tell everyone it was so they could take some pics. They were supposed to be closing off that loophole, if they want to take promotional pictures they should do it on official testing days, or take a picture of the car in the factory and photoshop it.
And don't say they weren't testing because they had a raft of new parts on the car and they would have taken the aero measuring device (manometer or something like that?) off the airbox.
Promotional pictures for the aero measuring devices maybe? Ferrari always have been good at stretching the rules on these kinds of things.
It's ridiculous, the rules should be transparent. I'm sure they banned all running between tests at the beginning of last season, they might as well just have unlimited testing again.
