Have to admit wasnt there at the weekend but just watched the BBC highlights on their website. From that I counted 7 defensive mistakes that should have cost us goals, We just didnt look interested in the highlights - although we did have two good scoring chances and a stonewall penalty turned down. Im sure it will be the case but the players better be up for a battle at the weekend, THEY will definately be putting in 110% effort so we need to at least match that!!

Cmon Killie, looking forward to the weekend already!!

It was appalling! I have mentioned several times about KS's unwillingness to adapt to the conditions, and that was the case on Saturday again. The pitch was terrible through the middle, so we started without a wide attacking player <yikes>

For a third home league match (St.Mirren & Aberdeen were the others) we refuse to make use of the wind to put the other team on the back foot and under pressure.

Sissokko is a red-alert bomb-scare, who makes Simon Ford look reliable. Kroca was to blame for the second and third goals, although I thought he was the only outfield player in the first half who got anywhere near passmarks. Shiels and Harkins were SHOCKING!!!! and Heffernan was absent. There was little or no movement throughout the whole team, which makes it difficult to play a passing game. The only consistency on Saturday was that Sissokko missed EVERYTHING.

    Rant over.

    Don't remember the stonewall penalty.

I just saw the highlights, and although Kroca looked poor on the goals, I didn't see him getting any support toward the center. On both the goals we can 'blame' on him, he was far to the right of goal. Where was Sissoko or either of the fullbacks? Pascali once called Sissoko a 'heart attack', but he also seems to have some good games as well. GE, please don't use the 'F' word (Ford), as it conjures up too many forehead-slapping memories.

The RP surface looked awful. If there is a turf farm anywhere in Britain, I hope they get the pipe fixed and some new turf laid. There are 4 home games between now and the split. If it's possible, they should try to postpone 1 of them to give themselves 3 weeks to put in the fix and re-sod the center of the pitch.

We are shocking at the back when Pasca is moved into the anchor role in midfield. He is a natural central defender, seemingly the only one at RP at the moment, maybe the new guy will be an improvement.Move the captain back into the role that he is suited too and IMO we will stop leaking stupid goals.

I agree that Shiels and Harkins were shocking on Saturday and perhaps looking for excuses the park can get an honourable mention but as GE has said not to play to the conditions and not to use the width of the park (like ICT & Dunfermline did) is naive.Maybe our wingers are not on form as witnessed by Silva's & Deytons last 2 runouts but KS relies too heavily on his system of angles and runs off the ball. This makes us too easy to close down and if A&r have done their homework I envisage a very door & dull semi ,something my wife is used to.

I also noted that we persist with the 1 up front even when we were 2 down on Saturday, whats that all about??? Dunfermline had 2 up front all game and they proved too much of a handfull for Kroca & Sissi and it would appear Jimmy Mac has learned from Terry Butcher how to play us.

No pass marks for Saturday except Cammy Bell who must be sh*t*ng himself looking at his centre backs and wondering what they will do next but I predict a brighter afternoon on the 28th because at least we will be playing on a decent surface, against 6 toed rank amatuers, from an inferior league and KA district.WFAANW

Sissoko shoud have been dropped weeeks ago as he is far too inconsistent, yet he knows he is not going to be dropped.

Gordon was out of position for the 2nd and 3rd goals thus pulling Kroca wider than he would like, albeit he made an arse of it twice.

I would drop them both and play Nelson and Pascali at the back today.

It took us 43 minutes to shoot from distance, and that was with the wind behind us. If we can see this why can't the players (surely they can think for themselves or is Kenny going to pull them up for not completing 3,576 passes in our own half before creating a scoring chance.

This shower today will hit the ball at our goal every chance they get - do the same to them and this will unsettle their defence. Otherwise they will simply play it tight at the back, keep us well away from their goals and wait on us to make a mistake, something our bomb scare defence and midfield have suddenly become expert at.
