Thanks Sky but we've booked a hotel at Heathrow for the night. (land at 2000 after a 12 hr flight from Hong Kong) and then herself has booked a coach home (we oldies can travel return Somerset to Heathrow for 12 pounds each!!!)
Watched both games on Sunday (well monday morning here!). Arsenal and United were both rubbish with Utd just having a little more class. City and Spurs were better but I still think that the Spurs train will come off the tracks sometime soon.
In the first half of the season, we dropped points but we performed extremely well IMO. We dominated games, passed well, and created a shed load of chances. There was cause of optimism. However, the past few games have been dire. We don't look as confident anymore and we've deserved to have drop points. We deffo need more players and I'm glad Kenny came out and had a go at the players.
No problem mate - I just thought If you were stuck I would of helped you out. You bloody oldies getting cheap deals and bus passes etc - ****ing scandalous!!
I'd be amazed if we didn't whine after some of the results we've had because we're all understandably disappointed and frustrated. However, everyone on here these days seem to be genuine fans and so will be right behind the team again with the next game- and the next- no matter what happens. So, bring on City, and let's finish what we started....
I thought we were at it all weekend, but then i was on yesterday as i was sick and had the house and footy all to me for once. This was to be the defining week in our season imo and we started it like kenny said, we must not accept that its all better after a positive result at either city or utd but equally we can't be thinking and saying unrealistic things about our players either.
