Well i think the next couple of weeks are vital as we have to play teams around us

    Tomorrow Night Vs Burnley (H)
Saturday 19th March Vs Norwich (H)
Saturday 2nd April vs Milwall (H)
    Saturday 9th Watford (A)
    Tuesday 12th Swansea (A)

i could easily see us beating burnley, milwall and watford draw against norwich and i reckon swansea will beat us

Don't count your chickens just yet, football is unpredictable. Confidence is a good thing at times but over confidence is a dangerous thing. To be honest I didn't see some of the results this weekend like us beating Forest away and Scunny beating Swansea. Let's just take one game at a time.

well said Lloydy, everyone is rightfully optimistic after beating Forest who hadn't lost on their own patch for 30 odd games! However, if we lose to Burnley (or even draw IMO) tomorrow night then we cannot realistically expect to make up the ground. We have to beat the teams in and around us to stand any chance

We are not safe from relegation yet, 33 points to play for so the teams at the bottom can still overtake us.

Realistically of course we are fine and competing for 6th but 5 points to make up, 7 if you count Burnleys 2 games in hand as wins so it could be a tall order.

I think we will draw against Burnley, they are a decent team and in good form all be it a little unpredicatble, this will then leave us with potentially 7 points to make up if TWS get a win away at Preston which is likely as they will be upbeat with the thrashing over Donny. Lets hope Brownie does us a favour and beat them eh.

11 games to go, many twists and turns ahead...the only real certainty is that QPR are likely to win the league and anyone of 4 to get the second place. What interests me more at this time is that it will be Hull City who damage the promotion intentions of QPR, Swansea and Norwich.

Win all our remaining games and the likelyhood is we will get automatic promotion...sadly, I can only see us getting a further 17 points which will leave us either 6th or 7th....either way, we have a had a really good season and some of the football over the past 4 months has been better than we played over the past 2 years.

Championship football is more enjoyable than the prem, shame its not where the money is.

Could see us beating Burnley with Dean Marney probably going to start for them :emoticon-0116-evilg

The support and atmosphere against Millwall will be electric and can't see anything but a City win now that their 'major goalthreat' Morison's form has cooled.

Watford have won 1 in there last 9 or something stupid like that so they're for the taking.

Coventry are easily beatable all we have to do is put in a good solid performance.

    And Swansea......WELL......... I'd take a point.

If things go well we should get 11-13 points... or am I just bieng greedy?

Yeah Coventry without King as well, alot people have been putting Norwich as a draw, but I can see us winning that. Swansea away is one I think we'll have an issue with.

We could do with QPR having another blip and dropping back to Swansea and Cardiff a bit. Give Swansea that bit of extra pressure that will come from their fans thinking a title push (rather than just auto) is realistic but knowing if they screw it up they'll be in the playoffs.

Some big games coming up, not losing at Coventry on Saturday means we create a new club record of being unbeaten away, though they shouldn't give us too much to worry about. 3 massive home games (Burnley, Norwich and Millwall) coming up, 7 points would be a good return, wouldn't say no to 9 though! Looking further ahead though (post Swansea), aside from QPR we have a decent run of final games. The other teams, if current standing and form is anything to go by, should be mid table with nothing to play for but pride, contracts etc. Obviously we have Palace as our penultimate league game, though i feel they'll be safe by then, with the current bottom 3 being relegated. If we can get through these next few weeks playing the teams around us, surely then been probably left playing teams with nothing to play for could work in our favour? A lot can change though, especially in this league, so won't take anything for granted! Feel its going to be one of those final 4 weeks of the season when you're constantly checking how the results from elsewhere are going!

Looking at our remaining fixtures I'd say that around 18 points would be needed to get into the play offs. Swansea, QPR, Norwich and potentially Burnley and Millwall could be possible slip ups. I'd be happy with 7 points from our next three home games. So long as three of those come from millwall and another three come from burnley ;)

Definetly want the 3 points against Burnley and Millwall. Noticed the Millwall game is a 1pm kick off, will hopefully stop some of there clowns from coming up and wreaking havoc like last time.

There is a bus departs from Leven (outside the butchers' shop - opposite the Church) at 18.15 direct to the stadium arriving in time to get a pint before the match. Phone Val Harper on 01262 488811 or Graham Fletcher 01723 891307 to see if there is a seat available.

I used to be able to leave my seat at the final whistle on a Saturday and make it onto the 17:17 train to York. With the crowds not being too bad trying to get over the walkway and in for the 5 or 10 minutes before kickoff it should be easily doable walking.
