Who's the worst Balotelli or the spineless morons who protect him?

Rather than a poll, I think it's better that everyone states their opinion.

Tbh him being banned wont help us so i dont give one...him missing matches v the goons etc will only help them.
We are in a good position for top 4 and the goons are tearing themselves to pieces so it could be worse...

Everyone seems to be missing the point, apart from HIAG, this is a poll.

I agree that banning him will (relatively) benefit all the teams that Man$ play during the ban (possibly, you never know which version of him will turn up after all). Nevertheless there's times when you've just got to put aside what is best for your team and think about what is good for the game. We are all talking about this in terms of match bans etc. What about the potential injury? You never cease hearing from 'pundits' about how much a bad tackle might damage a players career if it broke their leg etc. That moron stamped on Parker's HEAD. Granted leg injuries can be really bad, but the potential damage of a head injury by comparison? Just think about it, we are suddenly not talking about a career threatening injury but a life threatening injury. I don't want to overstate this or get over excited, but action has to be taken or anyone that commits such an 'accident' will be able to get away with it in future.

  9. If he's banned, and with other players away, it will be a massive plus for us, because £ity will have less of its squad to call on. That increases the chances of them slipping up over the next few games.

Everyone is glossing over the Lescott elbow. That was just as bad, and as deserving of a retrospective ban.

  11. I wonder if Harry or Levy have put in complaints? The FA is unlikely to do anything unless someone makes a formal complaint to them.

Harry was pretty angry yesterday, so would be surprised if he hasn't.

The ones defending him (ditto in the cases of Suarez, Terry, et al)

    I think it was worse.
Balotelli just lashes out, because he's a child.
Lescott's was a calculated attempt to stop an opposition player.

  15. Worse indeed PNP and likely easier to prove I imagine IF and it's a big IF, that idiot Webb is honest enough to admit not having seen it........

Frankly, I don't hold out any hopes that either play will be disciplined.

Vimhawk makes an excellent point, we all feel cheated out of (at least) 1 point after yesterday and are a little angry, but the important thing is that people realise just how serious an injury this could have caused, and that the player gets punished for the good of football and the safety of other players, rather than the benefit of other teams.

Very true. But, I would really like the Fa to grow some balls, and do something about that ****ing lunatic, Ballotelli, before he thinks he can just do whatever he likes, and really hurts somebody.

Lucky Parker's face wasn't there, could've blinded him. Far worse than Lescott's for that reason.

As far As I'm concerned Lee Dixon called it right about both incidents. The balotelli 'stamp' looked innocent of intent, just the actions of soomeone off balance in the air, anyone who says you don't stamp your foot down to gain balance is an idiot, if you think it's bullshit stand on one leg and suddenly lean backwards and see what your leg does. Lescotts elbow, on the other hand, should be a retroactive red.
