He'll do well there, and Cobblers need a good keeper.

Weale is a great signing for them. He is a steady keeper but not solid. The 2 major flaws in his game is communcation and long shots. But he will do well in league 2

I don't think it matters what league you're in, if you're prone to blunders you won't be a success. But hopefully this move will restore his confidence.

In the play off season he was linked with West Ham and Tottenham and even at one point he tipped for an England call up. Now he is on loan at Northampton, with Conrad Logan now back at club i think it was clear Weale was going to leave one way or another

Weale did a good job for us but when Sven tried to replace him with every muppet avalible his confidence was rocked and he never recovered. Out of all the crap keepers we had last season Weale was the best by far. But he isnt in the same league as Kasper

Agree, he seems to be a big confidence player, when down he seems to lose it totally, If he was tough mentally he would have entered that Florist away game with more confidence and would have claimed that cross!

Good luck to him, maybe that would be a good permanent move?

Isn't this the Northampton Town staring relegation from the league in the face? Shouldn't imagine he'd want to go there on a perm!

He's reunited with Gary Johnson though. They worked very well together for Yeovil.

I have just seen the 2 goals he let in. First was typical Chris Weale, long range shot he should of saved but his positioning isnt good enough. Second he should of done better, just outside the box again
