the shrews are looking at a new striker please log in to view this image looks a good replacement for harrold if you ask me
sadly the charicature is of former 1950's star roy race= roy of the rovers. roy is reported to be on the gas hopeful managers list of interviewees. sadly at 83 roy no longer trains or coaches, but has a good nouse for the game, and has some excellent 8mm cine film of melchester rovers games including the 1954 cup final showing roy's hatrick against manwall city. i think he will do the gas very well as their manager especially as only 1 team may be relegated as it seems darlo have gone bust. so let us hear it for roy race manager of bristol rovers f c. up the gas, up roy of the rovers. there you are didn't have to change his name !!
if i was jenny! i would give mr blob an outing on the gas boards. aj has angered the gas so much i have been told to f**k of just like that, sadly i shall get my own back if the gas should replace darlo but i want the gas to stay up so they can walk and storm the league next season and on and on until 2166
talking about fish, anyone noticed birds eye have repackaged their fish fingers and the fish content is equivilent to a flat chested breast implant which brings me smartly to jelly on the plate. off now to tell the gas to f**k off again. nighty night
Rocky I was looking at a Southend v Shrews match thread and thought the signature of one of their posters on the first page might amuse you!! http://www.shrimperzone.com/vb/showthread.php?70268-Shrewsbury-v-Southend-United C................/´¯/ O............../¯ */ L............./..../ C....../´¯/`...`/´¯¯`·¸ H..../`/.../..../......./¨¯\ E...(`(...(...(.... ¯~/`..`) S....\.................`...../ T.....\`...\...\.........·´ E.......\................/ R.........\............/
Shrews, With the squad u ended last season with how do u think u would have faired in lg1 this season?
I think we might have struggled, remaining in the lower positions for much of the season (15th-20th) with staying up being the aim. Chesterfield have surprised me, I thought they'd do much better than BOTTOM. Excuse my ignorance, but did they lose a shed-load of players in the summer?!
Your ignorance is excused, as i dont have a clue, however they may have bought some players to "strengthen" but they have turned out to be sh1t like a few of our saummer signings!
Stevenage on the other hand, haven't surprised me. Their brand of football was always likely to keep them up, ruffling a few feathers along the way.
i think chesterfield lost 2 of their best players but the way they romped to the league title i thought they would have done better than they have this season
