As we all knew they would <ok>

More losses to follow. Let's just hope we don't screw up again <ok>

An under strength City with at least 3/4 key players missing managed to beat them at full strength playing poorly :emoticon-0136-giggl

Main thing is us getting our results, beating United could be key to kickstarting a run of good results!

Agree. I hope Nani isn't fit enough to start. Valencia will rape Ashley Cole but Ivanovic won't be match fit and Nani could be trouble.

From what I've seen of United today esp 2nd half they are more than beatable <ok>

I'd honestly play Sturridge in the middle against QPR or Swansea and see how he gets on!

Shameful thing to say but Lampard being injured could actually be very good for us because hopefully now AVB will use the 4-1-2-1-2 with romeu holding, ramires right, meireles left, and mata BEHIND torres and sturridge which is what our best formation is/ would be. Mata is not a left winger he is a creative attacking midfielder, his putting in great performance after great performance being stuck on the ****ing left so imagine what his going to do in his actual best role

Exactly Mata had his best game for us IMO when he was in the middle (in a free role) vs Everton <ok>

Exactly and look at that, 3-0 result against Everton, judging by our previous records against them in recent years who the **** would of said we could beat them 3-0? Mata is a world class attacking midfielder but his not a world class left winger because that's not his position.

I'm with lcooper and Drogs on this. Mata in the centre, Torres AND Sturridge up front. Personally I'd do it against QPR. We don't need the Cup as much as the CL, so give it a whirl.
Mind you, imagine the whinging if we lost to QPR !!!!!!!!!!
